As an experienced Planning Manager for Manatee County, Norm Luppino has more than 23 years of hands-on experience working with elected officials, the business community, and neighborhood residents to resolve important issues that pertain to your quality of life.  

Throughout his tenure with Manatee County, Norm worked on hundreds of development proposals, including large scale projects such as Manatee Walk, University Park Country Club, Creekwood, Lakewood Ranch, Tara, S.R. 70 Wal-mart, Kohls/Fresh Market shopping center, The Consession, and many others.

Today, Norm operates a private planning consulting business and works for neighborhood organizations to help protect and improve their quality of life.

Norm's education in Urban Planning combined with 25 years of practical, hands-on experience working with neighborhood residents has provided him with the knowledge and insight to address the special needs of our district.  

Established

As a long standing, District 4 resident, Norm has established strong ties in the community and has been active with a variety of service and non-profit organizations.  Norm served multiple terms as president of his neighborhood association and was a team captain for the American Heart Association and Keep Manatee Beautiful.   Norm's leadership in the Crosley Estate Foundation was instrumental to raise funds to preserve a piece of our community's history and transform it into an important tourist destination and economic asset for Manatee County.
